    la luz es como el agua (light is like water) was inspired by Gabriel García Márquez’s short story of the same title. The

    composition is based on the process of reflection, transformation and, ultimately, the nature of transcendence— in this case

    the electroacoustic part casts the acoustic qualities of the string quartet into alternative dimensions.
